Every developer has one project that feels very special.
For me, that project was designing the official website of my own college, Thirumalai Engineering College.
I studied here as a student, and later I got the opportunity to design the college website as a WordPress developer. This project shows my growth from a student to a professional developer.

My Journey from Student to Developer
I studied at Thirumalai Engineering College, where my interest in web development started. During my college days, I learned WordPress, website design, and basic SEO.
After working on several practice projects, I gained confidence. Then I was trusted to design the official website of my college. This was a proud moment for me as Yogananthan, WordPress Developer.
Why This Project Was Important
This project was important because:

Problems in the Old Website
Before redevelopment, the old website had several issues:

- Hello Elementor Theme – fast and lightweight
- Elementor Page Builder – for custom design
- Basic on-page SEO practices
Using the Hello Elementor theme helped improve website speed, which is very important for Google ranking
SEO Strategy and Results
SEO was a major focus of this project.
